Handloom Dark Purple Pure Chanderi Silk Dupatta With Three Flower Meena Motifs

There is nothing as exquisitely appealing as this eye-catching Chanderi silk dupatta. Chanderi, a small town in the Ashok Nagar district of Madhya Pradesh, is home to ingenious craftsmen who create impeccable handicrafts like Chanderi sarees, fabrics and dupattas. With utmost precision and care, this enticing dupatta is meticulously crafted by hand by the Chanderi artisans using the intricate eknaliya weaving technique.

The alluring pure Chanderi silk expanse of the dupatta is extensively adorned with intricately crafted three-flower Meena motifs. This adds "extra" to the dupatta’s "extraordinary" aesthetic appeal. From its unrivalled aesthetic appeal and intricate detailing of the gold and silver zari work to its lightweight and durability, everything about the dupatta is worth the investment and nevertheless, worthy of being treasured for future generations. You can experiment with the drapery of the dupatta by pairing it with a Sharara suit, a beautiful Anarkali suit, or perhaps even use it as a veil on your wedding lehenga. The Weaving Technique

The Design Technique

Jangla is one of oldest and most rich patterns, the Jangla is truly representative of a banarasi. Floral patterns, paisley intertwine in brocade or kadhwa weaving on silk, kora or satin fabric. An interplay of floral jaals cover the saree or dupatta in Kadhwa and Kadhiyal weave with meenakari to create a rich design with or without contrasting borders. The jaal is enhanced with jewelled meenakari. This is one of the oldest and most complex weaving techniques from banaras.
